Mailbag: Class Notes

Lots of Alumnus mail to sort through these days. Here are some items we received:

Jay Thornton (Knoxville ’90) was recognized among Top Lawyers by the 2014 South Florida Legal Guide. Thornton specializes in employment and labor, banking and finance, entertainment and sports and litigation for GrayRobinson in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is pictured above.

Patrick Booth (Knoxville ’00) is president of CCB Inc., a technology solutions provider for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. He was featured in a cover story in Channelpro magazine. During Booth’s tenure as president, CCB has won several awards including the Varnex Signature Award for top Microsoft revenue.

Charles Bush (Knoxville ’05) has joined the law firm of IceMiller in Indianapolis. Bush specializes in labor and employment law. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at UT Knoxville.

Alan King (Knoxville ’02, ’03) has joined the Chattanooga accounting firm Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough PLLC. He is a supervisor accountant. King also is president of the Northwest Georgia Society of CPAs.
