UT Chattanooga students can now rent their textbooks instead of buying them.
The cost is less than half the price of purchasing a new printed book, and the convenience factor is high—books can be rented online at the UTC Bookstore’s website. Students can mark or highlight the rented books and can convert their rental to a purchase during the first two weeks of class.
The rental option was a joint decision by UTC and Barnes & Noble College Booksellers. The UT Knoxville bookstore is offering a similar, but limited, opportunity for students this fall.
