Tickle Engineering Building Dedication
A ribbon-cutting ceremony in October marked the dedication of the John D. Tickle Engineering Building. Tickle (Knoxville ’65) and his wife, Ann (Knoxville ’65), celebrated the state-of-the-art building, which houses civil and environmental engineering and industrial and systems engineering.

Shrikant Patel and College of Pharmacy classmates at taping of the Price is Right
While attending the annual meeting of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists in Los Angeles, first-year pharmacy student Shrikant Patel, along with a group of other students, attended a taping of the Price is Right game show. Patel made it through the Showcase Showdown and won more than $32,000 in cash and prizes.

UT College of Vet Med 40th anniversary
During the UT College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual conference in Knoxville, class reunion celebrations were hosted for the Classes of 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009. Each class generously supports the college, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
